The SEDG Cell has been established to ensure that students belonging to Socio-Economically Disadvantaged Groups (SEDGs) are provided with a safe, secure environment and equitable access to quality education in Higher Educational Institutions (HEIs). The main challenges faced by individuals perceived as disabled, or those with disabilities, or from minority communities, arise from disabling environmental, economic, and cultural barriers.
